This year, our annual "Day Before Labor Day" picnic featured a South Pacific theme, so participants wore Hawaiian shirts, leis, but I didn't notice any grass skirts. :-) Excellent weather greeted the scores of members and guests attending.
After the welcome team had completed their decorative and signed in members, the foodies (which is everyone) began their feasting of mouthwatering and nourishing ribs, chicken, green beans, corn on the cob, a scrumptious salad, water, tea and lemonade. The pinochle card sharks took over several tables, intently studied their hands and their opponent’s faces as they strategized their next moves. Lively conversations flourished. We delighted in a wonderfully decorated cake.
And then the washer toss and croquet games began... You may pause the photos by hovering your mouse cursor over the photo.
